Rubbish dumped in garden - why should I pay?!

Options
Hello, bit of an odd one this, looking for some advice.

Someone has dumped some bulky items in the front garden I share with three other flats - it's a large wooden palette and a smashed up wooden table. I don't have a car otherwise I'd just take them to the tip, and my council only has a service for collecting household goods, furniture etc not general large waste items.

So, I'd have to pay for a company to come and take them away.

I really don't want to have to do this.

I have a suspicion the stuff came from some new neighbours next door - soon after they moved in they started leaving large items in their garden. There are currently two large fridge-freezers standing there which have already attracted some graffiti. Anything I can do to get those moved to? They really do make the street look a mess.

Any advice appreciated!

I can't - no back garden, only small front garden on busy main road.

Put a sign on, "free fire wood", it will soon be gone.

Also pallets are popular with allotment gardeners, again free sign.

And have a quite word with your neighbours, maybe suggesting you have installed CCTV as a result of the unknown transgressors, that should get the message across.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Tonight, push everything onto the pavement/road then call the council to report fly-tipping on a public road

Instead of "Free" a sign saying "Firewood £5 a bundle" will see the rubbish disappear even more quickly. :D

Maybe you need a camera to catch the flytippers

Knock on the doors of the other 2 flats and ask if its theirs.
