If you say you've been to a Hugo Duncan or Foster & Allen Concert I'm pressing the Ignore button !! ;)

No, definitely not a Hugo fan.
  • Who the heck is Nathan Carter? Many years ago, my brother was asked if he wanted to go to a DOD concert and he in horror at the questioner. However, on being told that he would be a guest of the Irish Ambassador to Australia and the concert was at the Sydney Opera House, he rapidly changed his mind! (He was living in Sydney at the time)

I was in Heathrow on Sunday night, completely forgetting that the brand new T2 is home for Aer Lingus, and it was quite amusing looking at the very happy Kingdom supporters coming through with the unhappy Donegal ones - I was supporting Donegal, purely on the basis that Kerry knocked us out in the semi.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

I think Carter's more popular that DOD was.

DoD was a triumph of marketing over talent. His record company bought all the number one slots on every commercial radio station to make sure he was always on the air. You can't do that now as far as I know. I spent years moaning about Irish country music until having an epiphany one day. People like it. It just so happens that I don't but that doesn't mean everybody else is wrong, it just means some people have different musical tastes and I shouldn't look down my nose at them for it. My wife quite likes it to be honest.

Don't drink the water. In fact, don't drink anything. Everything is chlorinated and tastes like swimming pool water - apart from the swimming pool water.

    Nothing wrong with the water.

It's that Arab Spring - the water's coming from there now.
