Hi
Just looking at all this info and wondering if I need to do anything further. I received a letter from ParkingEye to pay £60/£100 showing a photo of my car and that it was there for 13 minutes. I had intended to use this car park but the machine failed to recognise any coins which were entered and I was unable to get a ticket. I walked around looking for further machines to pay but the only other machine had an out of order notice on it. I checked if there was any telephone number to contact anyone but their wasn't and checked around to see if I could spot an attendant as I was going to a show. I left the car park to find an alternative.
When I received this notice I have wrote to them to appeal and sent them copy of tickets for venue and time of show. I haven't had a reply yet but received a reminder that I only had a couple of days to pay the lower fee. I have ignored this as I presume it is automatically sent and I have appealed.
Should I be doing anything else?

they have 14 days to acknowledge your appeal and 35 days to make a decision
so if you posted said appeal (with free certificate of posting at the PO) then you havent left it 35 days
you could do the online appeal and attach copies of any tickets etc, ie:- anyway, to be doubly sure
a landowner appeal for cancellation is also a good idea too0 -
I didn't get a certificate of posting! I didn't email as I didn't have a ticket or anything. I will do the online appeal and attach the email I have for the tickets purchased showing date and time. It will be better than waiting for a response and then being to late if I don't. I will see if I can find any information on who owns the car park as well. Thank you for your response.0

Forget the deadlines for the discount. Forget them right now as you will pay nothing.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

should always get a cert of posting at the PO for these matters
the online appeal is on their website, I never said anything about emailing them0 -

Sorry blonde moment! I meant appeal online.
I did the appeal online earlier today.
I should have read this earlier brilliant pool of knowledge and great that everyone is helping each other through and not letting them rip people off.0
