Seem to sweating a bit more these days just in the armpit area and have tried several high street brands but nothing tried seems go stop the damp completely. It's not excessive sweating just an ocassional slight damp patch
Can anyone recommend an established to obtain under arm anti perspirant that will work?
Don't get me wrong I shower daily and wear clean shirts every day in my office job role but tend to have to stick to black or white
Cheers

There is a brand called Trust in mr b$ots and it is a cream that is put on at night on the area where the hair growth is and wash it off in the morning. I use this once a week and then use sure 48 hour cream stick daily. The trust is supposed to stop the need for no deodorant but can't bring myself not to use deodorant just in case. The trust stuff is Excellant!0

I've worked my way through a few brands, trial and error, for me the best one I have found is Sanex - currently on offer in Mr T, 94p for a roll on.
if you do find it is "heavy duty" sweating, - then Mitchem - its a long lasting one you paint it on, then wash off afterwards, boots would be the best for that.
For me I've been throu (mum, sure, dove, garnier, right guard, own brands, body shop, avon, natrel, - from roll ons, sticks, sprays).
Please don't think I'm going off on a tangent, it may be worth getting your blood checked at a chemist, - diabetic testing, - just a scratch on your finger, and your sugar level will be checked. As excessive sweating is a side effect of diabetics.
Hope you get sorted, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Mitchum roll on. Its the only one that works for me from the standard range available. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

I second Mitchum as being a great anti-perspirant for excessive sweating, I've tried many brands and found it by far the most effective.
It appears expensive but the containers are a good size so it works out at a similar price per ml to other makes. It's often on offer too.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.

I really rate the Dove and Sure Maximum Protection deoderants, they really work if you follow the instructions (apply once per day at night before going to bed to cover you for the next day).
I've tried Mitchum and it didn't work for me- it turned to a gel as soon as I started sweating and just felt sticky and gooey which was pretty gross, but others I see above swear by it and maybe I'm just weird! (I sweat A LOT- I also get night sweats at times which require me to change my sheets and night clothes as they are squeeze-the-water-out wet. It's helped to chop out certain food groups I was reacting to but the deodorant really helped this-I was not in the menopause at the time of the night sweats btw, by about 20-25 years!).
Try everything to find out what works, if the Mitchum doesn't work for you, as I'd imagine it's cheaper than the Sure/Dove Maximum protection stuff, maybe then see if the latter works for you.0 -
Mitchum stick is brilliant!

The mitchum stick is good but i found the stick dried out and broke off and i never got to the end of its use, hence not very MSE. In my opinion all anti-perspirants only work fully if the area is hairless. I have now switched to dove/sure maximum protection which is like a cream. You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0

I avoid any anti-perspirants that claim to be moisturising or kind on the skin, for some reason they never work well.
I don't know if you're male or female OP, but if your female you could try using a men's deodorant, I use my OH's anti-perspirants occasionaly and they seem a lot stronger, though I don't much like the smell0 -
Mitchum again! The roll on. It's excellent. If you check the ingredients, there's some type of aluminium in it which is what makes it so good. There's one by Sure which is very similar and my partner uses it. They probably have a women's version too.0

Totally agree with this- the product aims to block the pores that produce the sweat in many cases and if there is hair in the way it cannot do this. It does require shaving frequently (or waxing...etc) but there is a freebie razor going on the freebie boards if your quick- it's made for men but TBH the only difference IMO is men are willing to pay less so the razors are generally cheaper. (Please remember to thank the poster who found the offer)
