Open University + benefits

At the moment I currently get PIP enchanced daily living and stanard mobility rates. I also get housing benefit and I'm in the ESA support group with the severe disability component.
I want to do an open university course from home and was wondering what the complications are with getting student finance and benefits? What am I still entitled to and is there anything I should know?
Thanks.

and I was told to post in the benefits section to get some better, perhaps more accurate advice sinse if you notice in that thread there are some conflicting facts.0 -
As far as I know, with OU you can only claim student finance for the tuition fees, not for living expenses.
My form didn't ask any income questions, only for details of the course. And I would presume (dangerous I know) that since the fees go direct to the OU, there would be no impact on your benefits.Anything I post on here is my own personal opinion, and quite likely not the view of my employer. My knowledge may not be up-to -the minute current, but I'll give you the best I can.0 -
There's no maintenance funding for OU study and the tuition fee loan has no effect on means tested benefits.0
