Wireless front door intercom?

Dear all, hope you're well :j
I have a wired doorbell which is pretty old and weak, and I think it's time I replaced it.
I own a set of Panasonic KX-TG8563 cordless DECT phones which I absolutely love. I see that Panasonic have released a wireless door entry/intercom/phone combo and I was wondering whether something similar was either available or (through some DIY) could be done for my existing DECT phones?
Alternatively, if that's crazy talk, then can I set up an intercom through the existing (working) wiring for the wired doorbell (without drilling more holes)?
