Hi there,
I'm a complete noob at home DIY/Renovation and going to be redoing my bathroom in my first home soon. However I want to move the toilet but don't know enough to know if its even possible? Its a ground floor bathroom on concrete (as far as I'm aware) its currently by an external wall and theres a drain cover in the garden reasonably close. What would I have to do if this is even possible?
Thanks for any help!

It is possible, I know someone who did it - and had to gouge into the floor to move pipes or somethingWith love, POSR0

Need a little more info . i.e where the drain pipe is, where you want to move the wc etc.
All things are always possible , if you throw enough money and effort at it . But a concrete floor does make things a lot harder if the waste goes into the floor. But if the pan just sits on the floor and the waste goes thru the wall ??0 -
Its definitely in the floor. If its loads of digging then messing about with drains and such I think I'll probably leave it. Not got a huge budget. 4k to do the entire bathroom, hence doing it myself. Thanks anyways0

I think a picture of the layout of your bathroom, where the drain is and where you want to move the toilet to would help.0

You can replace it with a rear exit type that exits via an outside wall. This will avoid digging up the floor, but you may then need to vent for the drop into the drain.
It's always more difficult on downstairs or bungalows.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0
