When I worked for Orange, they used to say - in line with the industry, we operate a fair usage policy to ensure a allocation of network resources.
They do not class the fait usafe policy as a cap and if customers occasionally went over allowance, nothing would happen. It is generally when people go over consistently they stop it. They say this is so everyone gets fair access. And I believe it is completely in line with ofcom guidelines as long as the manority of people do not exceed the fair usage policy, it can be classed as unlimited.0 -
4GB isn't a lot if watching youtube/netflix. When I was with O2, I can remember seeing stuff about fair usage.
3 provide the only truly unlimited data package I'm aware of (shame their customer service is so bad)0
