Hi
I have appealed a PCN previously and won so I do know a little about how to go about this.
However, I received a Notice of Assignment of Debt on 8th April from Civil Enforcement Ltd giving me notice of a PCN which I never even knew about.
I checked the PCN code which didn't exist (not sure if its wise to put the code on this site).
I wrote back saying I know nothing about this PCN and I want details of when the PCN was enforced (it just says a the Co-op Car Park) and I also said that the PCN code was not recognised so I requested one so I could appeal it.
I didn't get a reply.
So today I get a Final reminder before court action with a copy of a Northampton County Court form.
What do I do as I cant appeal as the PCN number doesn't exist and Civil Enforcement ignore my letters?
Is it worth sending another letter via recorded delivery or is there an e mail address I can send my request to?
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

I would start by doing a Search on this forum for coop cel and read some of the many threads about this.
Then also read post 5 of newbie thread. You have a lot of work to do.
Come back later today when you have read some of the threads probably a couple of times.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0 -
Loads of cases like this discussed in recent weeks with this letter from DEAL. On one it points out the copy court claim form is under crown copyright. If you search this parking forum for the single keyword 'copyright' you will find a few threads straight away, just like yours.Hi

Parking was at Co-op Store in England.
After reading lots of info on here I have decided that they will not be seeing a penny of my money.0 -
And nor will the Co-op see a penny of your money, ever again? Do send an email to the Co-op's Retail CEO Steve Murrells to tell him what you think of them. As covered in the other threads, with email addies for him and Deborah Misell-Williams I think.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
