Hi all,
I have an active 2 (NO PANIC BUTTON) key fob for a Chrysler Voyager.
I have just purchased a second. Same part and model number.
I am trying to find out how to programme the second fob.
Everything I have found on the web states, the unlock button then the panic button.
I have a plain 2 button key fob that needs programming. I also have an active programmed fob.
any guidance?

Probably needs plugging in by a specialist and the transponder chip in the key programming to the ECU.
Wild assumption, not based on fact, but past experience with Ford cars.Life isn't about the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away. Like choking....0 -
- Using a functional key fob transmitter, unlock the vehicle and disarm the Vehicle Theft Security System.
- Insert ignition key into the ignition switch.
- Turn the ignition switch to RUN position without starting engine.
- Using a functional key fob transmitter, press and hold the UNLOCK button for a minimum 4 seconds (maximum 10 seconds).
- While holding UNLOCK button, and before 10 seconds passes, press and release the OPEN button. A single chime will sound to verify that the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE ) module is set to receive the new Vehicle Access Code(s).
- Within 30 seconds of the chime, press any button on each new key fob transmitter. After 30 seconds or when ignition switch is turned OFF , the RKE module will end the programming mode. A single chime will sound to verify that the RKE module will no longer receive additional Vehicle Access Code(s).
- When Vehicle Access Code(s) programming is complete, turn Ignition Switch to the OFF position and verify RKE system operation using each key fob.

I think you are confusing a key fob with a key. The fob itself doesn't have a transponder chip, they key does.0 -
I think your confusing the transponder chip in the KEYFOB, for a key as in ignition key there is no chip in it, the fob holds the chip, hence you cant start off the key without the fob. not every car has a chip in the key, its in the fob.Nodding_Donkey wrote: »I think you are confusing a key fob with a key. Fobs are a coded RF transmitter. Transponder chips are passive. I don't know of a car that you can't start with just the key.
The fact is the person I was quoting was talking about the transponder chip which is relevant to the immobiliser. The OP is talking about a fob for keyless entry which has nothing to do with the transponder chip.0
