I have applied for PPI compensation and have received a letter rejecting my claim. I have rang the Financial Ombudsman and because the company wasn't regulated at the time I took out my PPI insurance they said they have no authority to assist.
Can anyone offer any advice on how to progress my claim please
Thanks

The ombudsman is correct, they don't have any authority.
You could appeal but I wouldn't hold my breath.
What were the circumstances you complained about.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
