Travel Insurance Query - Axa/M&S

Hi,

I'm looking at Travel Insurance with M&S and they have quoted me £180.00 for a 26 day trip with declared medical conditions. It does not include mountain biking.

Their underwriters are Axa, whose website quoted me £70.00 including the declared medical conditions and mountain biking.

Why is this difference here? Surely, M&S should not be taking off such a large % (or Axa doing it to M&S).

Consumer magazine Which? recommends M&S and places it 4th on lits recommended list with Axa at 17th.

How can this be if essentially i've checked both policy wording and it is the same policy?

How is there merit in opting for M&S for the same policy at x2 price - even those Which? recommends M&S?

Thanks.
