Airport parking

Beware of the firm Holiday Extras who are the first you come to on MSE under airport parking. On their site they claim to be the cheapest and are so confident that if you find the same product cheaper they will give you yours for free. This is obviously a marketing scam to stop you looking elsewhere. However I have found the same deals for various periods at Purple Parking through Skypark Secure (the second company you come to on MSE)for less. When I have tackled Holiday Extras they have wriggled out of it under the 'terms and conditions' and say because the cheaper deal is through a discount scheme it doesn't count. I tried to point out to them that it was a price found through the MSE website just as the price was that they offered but that Skypark Secure offered an extra 3% off. They refuse to budge and although the condescending Managing Director acknowledges that I have made some good points it was insufficient for me to get my refund even when I said I didn't want the money and he could donate it to charity.Their marketing is at best misleading and at worst deceitful. They say they are 'so confident' but I have carried out further price comparisons and found that they cannot be confident in this claim. PLEASE shop around before you book with them and don't think the claim is bullet proof. For some deals it might be but definitely not all.

Most, if not all, price match policies will have a similar exclusion.0
