Claiming interest charges

Hi All,
This is my first post and was just after a bit of initial advice. Been looking into claiming back bank charges and after going through all my statements from the past 6 years I have discovered that I have never actually exceeded my overdraft limit (which I suppose is a good thing- but it is a big one about £2000). The problem I have is that my bank have been charging me between £20 - £30 per month purely as interest for having the overdraft.
Am I able to put in a claim for the interest or is it just for charges for exceeding you overdraft?
Any info would be fab,
