Velux window replacement

I have a centre pivot Velux window where the frame that is part of the movable window has gone rotten but the fixed frame that is fixed to the roof has not.
Is it possible to remove just the window (old code GGL 606), unclip it at the hinges and replace it with the new window (new code GGL SK06)?

I'm told that Velux completely re-designed their range just recently & if parts are interchangeable with the new range then it's either coincidence or pot luck.
On the few occasions I've used them I've found Velux's own spares dept to be Vgood.
