CCJ Advice-Company has been Liquidated

Hi all,

Just after some advice. I have a 5 year old (just over) CCJ which I have recently found on my Credit Report. I have enquired as to who it is and the Ltd company has been Liquidated so I cant pay it, where does that leave me? Is it possible to get it removed on that basis?

Thank you

James

Nope the administrators have the right to chase you as this is money outstanding for creditors (could be unpaid wages, taxes, themselves, other suppliers).

If the administrators have finished then it would be a load of work to sort it out. Leave it 12 months and it will drop off your file.
  • Much appreciated, thank you for your help, I think it drops off in April. Just had another look so not too long to wait. Just annoying as everything else is spot on other than that.

Probably not as annoying as it was for the business that went bust probably due, at least in part, to people like you that knocked them

A liquidated company is dead. Administration is the process of trying to save a business which has clearly not happened. The debtor no longer exists so nothing to worry about :)
