Hi all,
am going to be re-laying a patio soon as we've just had an extension built and the old one has been dug up. We have bi-folds and I know its possible to have a flush threshold between inside and out, but I also know that this causes issues with the damp proof course where the outside level should be 150mm below
How would you do it to make it level? or can that only be done with decking?
Thanks

We had to have a guttering fitted in order to have the doors flush with the patio. Similar to this (this is a google image search picture - not our house)0

Thanks. I suspect we would have needed to do something when the extension was being built. Will probably just make do with a step down, was just wondering what the options are.0

We used these :-

The picture isn't fantastic but the drain is the first black line past the slabs. We also had to adapt the drain slots of the doors to flow into the drain.0 -
I need to do this on the cheap and myself, so I think a flush threshold is out of the question. The outside ground level is about 20cm below inside. I think the best I could possibly do is lay the patio and then add a step along the door opening to be flush or at least near flush with inside. Anyone know if this would work?0
