less than 6 months on passport. problem?

Hi all,

I am going to France in October this year but have just realised that my passport runs out in April 2015. I seem to remember re a ding of people having issues travelling with less thN 6 months left on their passport. Is this likely to be a problem? I'm flying wigh Ryanair if that makes any difference. Thanks.

Your passport needs to be valid for the duration of your stay

I have just come back from France and Spain and my passport expires in Jan 2015 and had no problems with it.
