Magic Eye For Sky - Can they be used With Cable

Magic Eye For Sky - Can they be used With Cable

I live in a 3 floored town house and on the middle floor in the lounge I have Sky Plus and also Virgin Media TV (Get free with phone and use in case Sky picture goes). I have just bought a magic eye hooked upstairs to my bedroom from the sky plus and can change channel upstairs. I need to put a cable to a room downstairs and will have to use the virgin box?. Do these magic eyes work on cable boxes? They have RF out?

I have no normal aerial to my house.

Or Any other ideas?

Also how do these things effect recording on Sky +. If you are recording two things on Sky + will the magic eye not be able to change channel?
