What they are saying In effect is that the ticket issuing chappie is on commission, for every ticket which he issues he gets a payment.
OK nothing wrong with that on private land, every time a car salesman sells a car he gets a bung, but, what happens if the TIC issues a ticket incorrectly, does he stiil gets his silver pieces, I very much doubt it.
The salesman would not be paid if the customer agreed to buy a car, but then did a runner and refused to complete the deal.
Better comparison would be would a chugger get their commission if they got a person to sign up for a regular donation to a charity but cancelled the DD before it was put in force? I believe not.0 -
OP I do not understand. You say the machine would only accept cash but then go on to argue that this is a free car park. Please explain.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
