That reminds me to do my team
Every year I go for the tried and trusted but then every year a new player or a couple emerge and make name for themselves.
Torres, Nugent, obv berbatov or biannchi at Man City will be worth a shot up front.0 -
Being a Liverpool fan I was going to select Torres but then I know how Benitez likes the rotation policy and it could take him time to settle in. I think Nugent will be a good buy though.
Last season I won my group in the Champions League Fantasy game so have a free entry into the main competition as well. :T
The Telegraphs new game looks good but seems a bit hard to manage every week.0 -
the following codes work on a 2 for 1 offer
hull
newcastle
swansea
coventry
doncaster
bristol0 -
I have not done my full analysis yet.
But one tip is to include Ronaldo as a must.
Then go for good quality premiership players.
Leave out the new ones until you can see they play - you will not miss much and can add them later.
Midfield are the main players. Lampard and Pederson.
Also go 4-4-2 until a cheap forward starts to emerge after a few weeks.
Also enter team late when the first teams are announce and you can leave out injured players.
PM if you want more info later in the week.0 -
This is a good forum to be on :

I've listed the discount codes thread but there is a whole forum for TFFThat's Numberwang!0 -
Does anyone know any superleagues you can join up to once you have selected your team. Not much chance of winning main telegraph comp. but these leagues give you a better chance of winning.
I joined a recruitment website one last year but they are not running one this year.0 -
If Mc Sheffrey of Birmingham is classed as a midfielder rather than a forward stick him in,He will score a few goals & make a few assists.
Portsmouth kept loads of clean sheets last season,Stick "Calamity" in goal & select one of their defenders as well...

Look at Portsmouth's first six games.....
Agree McSheffrey is one of only three bargins i can see (Ljungberg and Samba the others) but isnt he prone to red cards and will O'Connor take his place in Bruce's first 11.
Super 20's are a good new slant by TTF, should keep everyone interested until the new year.0 -
Thanks guys,
I have been playing this for over Five Seasons, with the increase in prices and lack of freebies. It is good to get something back.
