Million dollar question unfortunately! There is no 'standard' for the routing of microbore pipes in walls, it's best to try to look for the pipework that you CAN see and then work out if the pipes go centrally behind the radiator, or drop vertically at each end of the radiator. And, of course, there's nothing stopping them running horizontally over short distances too!
And this is all presuming that your central heating is indeed microbore in the walls - could be surface clipped or below floor level....
Just too many possibilities to give you a definitive answer
