I have two ISA`s one at 9k the other at 3k which I plan on transferring into two NISA`s. 3k into cash NISA easy access / one year term and 9k into an investment NISA I am a 40 % tax payer.
Any enlightening ideas, funds etc.
I also have 90k which I am gently looking around for a buy to let property ( I have a couple of BYT`s ) or should this go into a fund as a alternative to property ?
I have only invested in property before therefore I am a little hesitant with funds and shares which I appreciate can go down in value.
Questions that`s what I am , answers hopefully someone can assist with !
Cheers

What rate are you getting on the cash ISA for £3k? You can get 5% outside an ISA which is likely to beat any ISA rate even after 40% tax.
Property can go down as well as up, just like shares and if you are using gearing you can lose more than your investment which isn't the case with shares.
Maybe some reading about investment on monevator.com would help give some more info.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
