    Truth be told its in the cloud before you receive it .
    User A posts you a message and it moves around the cloud before it gets to your ISP .

    Problem is the word cloud as data has always been held on servers but by naming them the cloud it becomes different .

    This post as the rest of the forum will be held in the cloud so as you can read it .

    All web based email such a GMail has always had everything stored on the company in question's servers. That is how it works. It is nothing new.
