Making the Bank send statements

Can anyone tell me, how do you legally make the bank send statements it has previously failed to provide. I have been to court today and the small claims case will be going to a full hearing. Meanwhile, I have been told I must get hold of statements from two accounts which the bank has failed to send me when I have written and phoned to them on numerous occassions.

Is there something about a Part 18 that applies to getting them to give me the statements for those accounts?

Thanks

  • bump, is it you going to court on the basis of an estimated claim? or has the bank taken you to court?
If it is the latter then ask for a continuance on the basis that the claimant has not supplied the statements required for your defence. If it is the former how did you work out the charges? If you are suing for non compliance, have they said whether the data was sent in the first place?
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
