My 8 year old Golf could do with an external and internal Valet, including shampooing the seats.

Are the mobile services that come to your home any good and can anyone recommend a reliable chain or a decent independent in West Sussex?

How much can I expect to pay?

Quite a few mobile services come up on google.

Would I be better off taking it to a fixed site?

I know I could do it all myself but I don't want to.

you want internal valet and external detail. that's some work for a single on his mobile unit.


if you want a tart up to the standard of just a wash wax and internal groom over then expect a good valet guy to charge around £120.00


if you want interior shampoo and dry, and clean up, exterior washing, clay bar decontamitation of paint, a mop over,mop polishing, mop sealing,mop waxing then your talking in the region of about £400-£750 depending on level of finish and treatment you want to achive.

As with most things there will be people that do a better job than you could in a fraction of the time. And there will be close that are doing it for the money do a half baked job and as soon as a few complaints come in they will vanish.
