Unknown finance company details

Hi all,
I'm new here & I'm hopping someone can help. I've recently claimed back my PPI from NatWest successfully but it got me thinking about other things I've had in the past.
In 1995 I bought a brand new Vauxhall Corsa direct from a Vauxhall dealer in Melton Mowbray on finance.
In 2000 I bought a Suzuki GSXR600 motorbike from motorcycle city in Reading on finance.
Around 2002(ish) I bought a BMW 323ise from car giant in London on finance.
In 2009(ish) I bought a citroen xsara picasso from Arena car sales in aldershot on finance.
I'm not sure if any of the deals had ppi but it's has to be worth a check?
I have no other details about any of the finance or who it was with as when it was paid off everything was destroyed as I didn't need it anymore (or so I thought).
If anyone could give me a clue as to where I should start it would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Nellie.

PPI mis-selling complaints must go to the original seller of the policies, not some "unknown finance company".
In the cases you list, any complaint should go to the car dealers concerned.
However, any complaint from prior to January 2005 is pre-regulation and the dealer can reject on that basis alone.
The only possible chance you have is with the 2009 sale, but I'm not sure what you'd complain about if you are not even sure you bought the insurance.0 -

I was thinking along the same lines as the OP. I also purchased a brand new Vauxhall Insignia in 2009 and PPI was included within the price. At the time I had no idea what it was, but as it was included I took no notice of it? Is there worth anything pursuing?:j

If you have valid reasons for complaining that the PPI was mis-sold, then make a complaint to the car dealer who sold you the insurance.I also purchased a brand new Vauxhall Insignia in 2009 and PPI was included within the price.
If you are unsure, carefully read the MSE advice article here:
