Title of song changed to Spanish

I downloaded a song some time ago-Whitney Houston the power of love, I when to play it last night and the title had changed from English to Spanish- "siempre te amare". Could anyone explain how this can happen-I'm completely baffled. Thanks!

    What application do you use to manage your music library? Are you just using Windows Media Player?

  • The filename may be different to the mp3 'tag' name of the song

    Some media players try to identify the file by comparing the checksum to that on a server. If you have an option set to "download missing media information automatically" or something, your media player might be trying to correct the ID3 tags, overwriting what you have them set to.

    Or, as above, the filename might be in English and the ID3 tags in Spanish...

    Thanks guys, that may be it I downloaded from youtube mp4 and converted to mp3 to burn to disk. Thanks again.
