Falling off the waggon...
CharliesAngel
I've closed one credit card account this morning hoorah!, and transferred most of my debt to to my 0%...
Great step forward I hear you cry... now for the 9 steps backwards:
Yesterday's dentist fees left a gaping hole..
Trying to make myself better with lunch buying and pointless magazine purchases took me another few (£18) quid down the wrong road..
..and internet shopping (arghhh) did i really need to buy a (£45)watch?
had takeaway for tea last night with a £1 delivery charge...
Feel thoroughly miffed with myself today...
Anyone else fallen off the waggon this week? I feel a club starting up lol

Chin up... you have reduced your debt by over £8000 in a year and a half! Ok so you fell off for a day - hey after a dentist visit I would have too! Want to feel better? I just spent £10k on a car
(planned purchase etc before anyone has a go
)
SO... it happens, I've fallen off from time to time, but sometimes we need to go a little mad to stay sane and on the right path - it doesn't matter! The difference is that unlike people who haven't had a lightbulb moment YOU know where you went wrong, you KNOW you were trying to console yourself and now you know that it really doesn't work does it?
Cancel the Watch order if you can - you don't need it! And then start again tomorrow with a clean slate

don't be so hard on yourself!
The dentist was needed wasn't it? Of course it was.... and who likes the dentist? I would have got myself some mags etc after having to experience something as nasty as the dentist!
you're doing brilliantly! don't forget that!

Ok, so it's a minor slip when you look at how far you've come. Cancel the watch (or return it if it's too late to cancel), you really don't need it.
The magazines and lunch/takeaways are annoying you so remember how mad at yourself you were for slipping up and think about that next time you're tempted to fall off the wagon.
It's annoying, but it's not a disastrous blowout. Just remember how bad this felt and don't do it again!0 -
Thanks guys... I'll sit on my hands and not open either piggy bank.. at least until this week is over lol
