Hi there, hoping someone can advise me on this.
I would like to take my daughter to France in February half term. I understand I can book 120 days in advance, but the hotel I really want to stay at only has two rooms left.
Does anyone have any experience of how fast half-term tickets sell out? Am I likely to even get the dates I want?
Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

Just realised I've posted this thread twice by accident! Can I delete the other one? Gosh I'm rubbish at this!0 -
you can book Lille now on the Eurostar site for Feb half term - they are at their cheapest prices too, from £69 return

Really??? I looked last week and couldn't see the dates I wanted, then the FAQ bit said not until 120 days before.
Oh my goodness, this is very exciting! Cool, I'd better find the credit card. Ooooh, thank you! Xx0 -
All booked! Thanks for your help :beer:0

In answering the general question, for the trains to fully sell out it takes a fair amount of time but for the fares to be bumped up is another matter.
I used to fairly frequently travel to Paris by Eurostar and rarely more than a weeks notice; not once did I have a case of not being able to get a ticket within an hr of the time I wanted to leave/ return but certainly sometimes I was paying through the roof for it0
