Savings Safe in RBS Group????

Hi all

Sorry if asked somewhere else already

Just wondering with the impending independence vote looming in Scotland

Are my familys and my ISA savings safe in RBS Group - in particular Nat West if the vote went to a yes???

I know a present they are protected up to 85K but will this still apply in this particular situation if the vote was a yes.....are there any sort of FCS clauses that may apply that anybody knows of

Well even if they Vote yes it would be at least 2017 before it actually happens and I think the answer will still be yes as they are HQ in London.

All money currently in ISA's will not be effected.

You may not be able to invest more in the same ISA but that will depend what happens in the next few weeks and months.
