Hotpoint damaged my floor!!!Advice please

About 6 months age the heating element went in my dishwasher.I wasn't covered by insurance so rung hotpoint and went with the insurance for the year costing £100 odd pounds and they came and fixed it.When the engineer was here he asked for an old towel so my laminate floor wouldn't get wet. When he had done his thing and left I thought it rather rude that he had left the wet towel on the floor but on picking it up discovered that there was two 4in gashes on the floor!! Got on the phone and they sent him back to inspect it.Anyway he obviously admitted it to them as they sent me a letter saying "Sorry for the damage blah blah"They asked for two quotes.Sent them in.They wrote back saying quotes not detailed enough.Got two new quotes. They then wrote back saying quotes in wrong format.Went and got quotes re-done.Today they have written to say that both quote have to have a certain sentence on that they are specifying to say floors inspected and not repairable. Both of the quotes I sent say exactly this but they are insisting that it says the exact wording that they quote or their insurance will not look at them.Do I really need to get them done again???
