Child tax credit income disregard 2014/15

Can anyone tell me what the income disregard is for child tax credit claim only.
I think I may potentially earn about £3,000 more this year than last year. I called in and they have made a note of it, one advisor said it wouldn't effect this years claim as the disregard is £5,000 or more, another when I called back for clarification, said it would because the disregard for 14/15 is £2,500.
Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks

And note that if income is below £16k (after above disregards) you'll get CTC in full anyway.0
