Hi Folks
I have twins who are now both teenagers. I have a fair few videos of them when they were babies and toddlers. i.e. recordings of when they were in hospital, starting to walk, first day at school etc etc.
What is the best way to keep these video copies safe? i.e. I don't want them stolen in a break in etc !!
Any advice greatly appreciated.

I would get them converted to dvd's them order spares and ask a relative to keep a copy safe for you. Its not just burglaries, but house fire, storm damage, loss of quality, breakdown of VHS player.0

You could buy a small home safe that you can secure to the floor or wall in a cupboard. They don't cost much & are some are fireproof.0

I don't think there is any point in keeping videos for years, you won't be able to play them in that format for much longer, if indeed you can now. You would be better off converting them and being able to play them on computer.0

...and once they are in PC format, keep a backup copy on an external hard drive, and a 2nd backup copy to free cloud storage. The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0
