Bosch fridge/freezer alarm problems

Bosch integrated fridge freezer alarm keeps going off and freezer will not reset to recommended setting of 18 even though it is all working. The setting keeps reverting to AL even after 3 days of setting it at 18 including the super setting. Any ideas on why?

Thanks Geep. We already thought of that and will do so but was trying to avoid the expensive call out charge if we could solve the problem ourselves.

Understood, but I was thinking of the advice you can get, rather than book an engineer.

Is the door making contact with the switch? Is the switch working? Press it in with your finger to see if it stops the alarm.
Perhaps some clumsy oaf has broken the switch.
