Hello
I bought a packet of purple/pink collection bulbs, which contain anemone sulphide (30-40cm, bulb size 6/7, flowers April to June), iris frans Hals (55cm, bulb size 7/8, flowers June to July) and tulip (little beauty) (15cm, bulb size 6/8, flowers April to May).
I'm planting them altogether in the same container and the packet says to do so from August to December.
I'm a complete newbie to this so here are my 101 questions and I hope I don't sound dumb:
1. Given that the tallest flower is 55cm and the smallest c.15cm, what height pot would be best to use?
2. When's the best month to plant between now and December?
3. Which order do I plant the bulbs in? I read somewhere tallest at the bottom, another said largest bulb at bottom another said last to flower at bottom. The anemome bulbs aren't really bulbs but tiny little corns.
4. After planting is it ok to leave the container outdoors?
5. Do I have to water regularly after planting, ie during autumn, winter etc?
Thanks for your help.
Ps can you tell I'm new to this!

hope this helps.
I would just poke the anenomes into the compost few cm, after the rest are done.
DEFFO LEAVE outdoors all winter, next to wall for shelter.0 -
Thanks. Do you know if I continue to water throughout the winter please?“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”

With those bulbs, you don't need more than a 20cm deep pot. Of course, you can use a deeper pot but I'd fill with bits of styrofoam rather than 'waste' compost.
I've been planting all my bulbs over the last week
Plant bulbs so they are 3x their height under the soil, so largest first.
Soak the anenomes in water for 24hr before planting
I'd water once to settle the compost, then just leave them outside. Ideally cover the compost with a layer of grit, crushed shells etc. just so weeds don't germinate0 -
