They took (presumably) a £950 BT (max allowed at 95%).
The min payments are 1%, so just under £10 a month.
They've so far repaid £60 so they have £110 available (£1,000 - £950 + £60 = £110).
So they're around 6-7 months in, and STILL have 0% on purchases, according to their statement.
My guess, based on the above, is that it's a 13/13 or a 15/15 month card, ie 0% on both purchases and BTs for over a year.
My 'guess' is based on the fact that Halifax cards (around 6 months ago) were either, say, 28/3 months or same on both.
So, the OP asked 2 questions:
1. Do I have 0% on purchases? and
2. Will I get charged a lot?
The answer to Q1 is "yes" (because the statement says so!), and the answer to Q2 is "it depends on how quickly you can clear the £110" (because from now on all payments go towards reducing the purchases balance before the BT balance).
Hi all, sorry yes to confirm, this post ^ is basically correct.
Though I'm not sure how long the 0% purchases lasts for, I'd need to check my contract or give them a ring to confirm.
As currently I have around £800 on a 0% BT on the card which is 0% until July 2016(!), and I transferred another £100 which is 0% until Feb 2015.
But purchases? I'm going to assume it's on the original deal so 0% until 2016? But of course I will check.0 -

But since you originally asked your question last Saturday, and today is Tuesday, you must be out of the country...otherwise you'd have made a quick phone call by now!0 -

I called them and found out my end dates for 0% etc, forgot to ask about this.
But checking my most recent statement online, from 24 Oct 2014 purchases rate will go from 0% to 21.95%.
So question about that, as of 24 Oct 2014 if there are purchases outstanding (not paid off) on the card, once it hits the date will I then begin charged an amount on it?
Just unsure whether it matters when you make the purchase or not.0
