Drm..?

Could anyone explain to me what DRM is? (I know it's digital rights management) but what does this mean? and has my MP3 player got digital rights managment on it it's just a basic 1GB Mulberry MP3 player?

Please help :confused:

  • Hey :) first thing is understanding what it protects...

    It protects individual music files rather than music players.

    Due to this, the DRM will lie within a music file.....

  • The Wiki link will explain all, I think your question refers to "Loading music" you can buy and load music from any website onto your MP3 player apart from iTunes. Just a quick question why did you buy a Mulberry MP3 player? not to sound cynical but they are rubbish (talking from personal contact with the player) they are cheap units that are manufactured under bad conditions in Shenzhen China. Stick with the following

    Apple, Samsung, Creative, Trekstor, Asidt, and Sony
