Transaction done abroad took 2 months to go on credit card

Unsure if this is the best thread for this.
In early July, I went to Rhodes for a week. I used my Santander Zero credit card on a total of seven transactions. Of those seven, three were withdrawing cash from the same ATM.
Six of these went onto my account within a couple of days. The final one, an ATM transaction was only added to my account yesterday.
Does anyone here have any clue why it has taken over two months to go on my card when the others took 2-3 days?

There was a problem processing the transaction.ScarletMarble wrote: »Does anyone here have any clue why it has taken over two months to go on my card when the others took 2-3 days?
Why the question though?...have they backdated the transaction and charged you two months interest at 27.9% APR?0 -
Sometimes transactions get held up (especially overseas) - I once had a UK cinema ticket transaction take 6 months to appear but I believe they have the full 6 years to arrive before they can no longer claim it back.0

I believe Visa rules (and also MasterCard's?) for purchases allow 180 days max, although such late claims can be charged back long before that deadline (via 'late presentment' reason codes). Cash advances would presumably be subject to the same 'rules'?King_Of_Fools wrote: »Sometimes transactions get held up (especially overseas) - I once had a UK cinema ticket transaction take 6 months to appear but I believe they have the full 6 years to arrive before they can no longer claim it back.

Many years ago I bought a flight ticket for US$2400 (or thereabouts). In the time it took to go through, the pound slumped from US$2.02 to US$1.84. Ouch! "Lost" over £100 on that one.0

Ouch indeed!0
