Breakdown insurance

Totally out of touch with whats a good deal and what isn't. Basically, myself and Hubby have joint RAC Cover since 97. We have full policy/homestart/recovery etc. Our youngest daughter 21 lives with us and now has own car. I rang for a quote and to put her on for the remaining length of the policy (9 months) was £54. I am aware that our own quote is fairly good because we rarely use them. However, she drives old car (V reg Yaris) so might need them more! At this cost for just 9 months wonder if she is better getting something of her own. Who does everyone recommend that are good and affordable?
