Questions about buying new car from a broker

Hi
I have a couple of questions that hopefully someone may be able to answer about buying a new car via a broker.
If the car is purchased from a dealer but you get it serviced/MOT'd later on/Warranty work are you treated differently because you didn't buy it from them?
Secondly I am looking a buying a Hyundai possibly through carfile.net as its rated well and if I get a good deal. There are fixed 3 or 5 year service plans available, would you have to buy one from the dealer you bought from or from the dealer you get it serviced at and is it usable at any dealer or dealer specific?
Thanks

Any main dealer worth their salt will service the car and the warranty remains .0

I bought my pre-reg Hyundai from a car supermarket and have had no issues with either servicing or the one warranty claim I've made.0

I've only once bought a car from my local dealer and never noticed any difference in service.
In fact my local dealer was last year bought out by the company I bought my car from and there has been absolutely no change in service levels0 -
The whole point of a worlwide main dealer network is that you can take it anywhere for servicing and repairs.0

I bought my Toyota from the other end of the country (saving about £3k) and had it serviced and the odd piece of warranty repair done at my local dealer. No problems at all.0

I bought my second had car from some who lives 120 miles away and it's still covered by warranty. You don't need to even have it serviced at the main dealers to be covered by warranty, as long as service has been carried out to requirements.0

I have bought two cars through internet brokers and not had any problems with servicing or warranty work. I have also bought a car from a franchised dealer but used different dealers for warranty and servicing. As far as l can see, there is no difference in service.0

Actually, the only issue I had having bought off the internet was not to do with servicing but when I came to organise a test drive for a new car a dealership asked where I bought my current car from. When I said I'd got it online he pretty much said that they'd only take me out on a test drive if I'd assure them that I'd buy from them and not go somewhere else for the sake of a few pounds.0

What an awful dealer, just out of principal I wouldn't buy a car from that sales person.
Until recently my Dad has had company cars going back to the 80s. Every three years he would go to local dealers and test drive cars that were on his list. He was always honest with them saying the car would be sourced elsewhere but bought to them for servicing and they were all accommodating.0
