Ok to cut along story short I was made redundant in 2008 and could not pay back my Creation Financial Duet card I had obtained as a student. Never again !
Creation chased me for awhile and then for 5 years I heard nothing until they started to phone and call me repeatedly each time more aggressively and rudely. I complained to the Financial Obudsman and then dropped the case as I thought I had got through to them. Ha ha they will not stop calling or threatening further action. The debt increased from £2,000 to £4250 almost over night. Could anyone advise how to deal with them.
Also defaults and CCJ's if unpaid what happens after 6 years and will my credit rating improve?
Many thanks

Defaults drop off 6 years from default date.
CCJs fall off 6 years from date granted.
What's it show on your credit file as? Date?
What does the last letter you have state? Ignore phone calls. They say stuff they would never put in writing.:beer:0
