Quick question on behalf of a couple I know
Background:
Husband has worked all his life, and is now retired claiming state pension
Wife has worked most of her life and is now less than 18 months from retiring age.
She had worked for the same place for the last 14 years and due to changes in management and a few issues arising it was getting to stressful for her and she felt she was left with no option and got a new job and resigned.
She started the new job, and has left within a week of starting as she felt it wasn't right for her, couldn't cope with the technology and the responsibilities of the new job (despite doing a computer course before starting etc).
An element of this stems from her still being stressed out from her previous job.
So they are now in the position where the only money coming in is the husbands state pension, is there any help available?
They are both now looking for some work to top up the pension.

Is Pension credit worked out on a weekly basis or is it on annual income as she had been working full time from the start of the tax year to now.
