Cuttings

I took some cuttings of a hebe in July and put 3 in one pot. The pot now has roots poking out from the bottom and I'm not sure when or how I should separate them and pot them on.
Is it the wrong time of year to move them to their own pots? If I do need to pot them on, how do I separate them without damaging the new roots?
Thanks

It does sound as if they have taken, so I would tease apart the three cuttings. Pot them on and keep them where ever you have been keeping the cuttings so far.0

Hebes are tough as old boots, propagation wise.
As Linda says, pot them on now, without worrying about root damage, which will probably be minimal. They'll then have a chance to grow into their new pots (not too large) before winter.0
