We've got a Mira Sport (next power level down) which is fine. Showers don't tend to last that long where we live due to very hard water - these seem to stand up to it a bit better.

Mira appear to have a better reputation for quality and reliability, we replaced a Triton with a Mira when we had a new bathroom installed a few years ago.

10.5 kW is going to cost so much to run.
I think our Triton is a 8.5 KW and so far its been 3 year and still works with our hard water. When it does break i call Triton and say what model number has broken and they tell me what new version will fit straight back in to shower cubicle and they have always been cheaper with free postage to replace a broken one.My husband fits the new one back in.

I got a gainsborough 9.5 off their website for £79. Is pretty good, good hot flow.

Had a Mira Sport 10.8 in 2003, still running strong. I'm in a hard water area.
The Sport over runs for 10secs or so, after turning off. This apparently helps it keep the scaling down. The design has worked well.
It has a little mesh filter in the inlet too to ensure nothing lumpy goes into the unit. Simple but effective.

Shower heads have been replaced many times! Theyre pretty cheap though, often cheaper than trying to clean one thoroughly.

Please remember that you may well need the circuit cable and RCD uprating for a 10.5Kw shower.

The higher the wattage the more hot water in winter

Mira sport 10.8kw superb, good shower loads of hot water, just looks ordinary, in new house we refurbed most merchants were recommending the sport, but OH wanted something that looked nice, so she picked a mira azora 9.8kw, its good but sport 10.8 was even better
