Student Loan/Benefits

Hi

I recently applied to University as a mature student,

Can anyone tell me when I must sign off before I get my student Loan?? I don't know when I am going to get it yet so If I sign off now I will have zero income and will not be able to pay rent etc.

    JSA and HB are paid in arrears so you would be OK for a while.

    You need to get on to student loans and find out if it has been approved.

    If there's any delay then you will have to borrow from family.

    My Loan status is 'progressing'.


    I am still awaiting final place decision after some messing around, I don't want to sign off just yet in case I don't get the place.
