They do offer refunds. After months of complaints and visits from DFS over my sofas I was offered a full refund or like for like replacement.0

ccc's always side with the merchant, unless the court has ruled in your favour or you can demonstrate [to the ccc's satisfaction] that the merchant is wrong [difficult to do].
ccc's make it as difficult as possible...after all it's their money you're after!0 -

Its the same as anything else, first you'd have to make a complaint about their decision and if you arent satisfied with their response or they do not respond within 8 weeks then you can go to the ombudsman.0
