car insurance - Diamond & Breakdown Call Assis

I got a quote from confused.com and the best price was Diamond. As I had already telephoned them for a quote and was told it was more expensive than my current renewal I did not follow it up. Diamond then phoned me whilst I was at work. I rang them tonight and they confirmed the 'confused' price of £370 was correct, even through when I rang them direct for a quote I was told it was a lot more expensive, over £500! (He checked all the details of both quotes and they were the same)

I don't know much about Diamond so am not sure whether to change or not. The difference between my current (Tesco) and Diamond is £33, thats including breakdown cover.

I then got Diamond to add breakdown, which brough my quote to £420, still cheaper than Tesco, but the company they use is Call Assist, again I have no knowledge of them.

I would appreciate any information on Diamond and Call Assist to help me make my decision. My insurance runs out on 26 september.
