Dear forum.
I saw the thorntons deal on my email and went for it. The deal was 30 bags of thorntons chocolates (mixed bags) for £30 and then a 20%code off at check out so total cost with delivery was about 27.00 GREAT DEAL .It arrived this morning and the packaging was poor and practically none existing. 3 of the bags had opened and spilled all over and there was 3 bags completely missing!!! So only really got 24 bags for £27.00 NOT SO GREAT . Who do I go to to get the other 6 sorted???

If it was ordered and sent by Thorntons I would say logically it will be Thorntons that you need to contact.

I , for a change, do have to agree with New poster over the packaging Thorntons are doing of their products.


I was craving Viennese Truffles last week. I used to get them all the time out of the shops, but looked online and they had offers on all their goodies, so I ended up spending £40 ( 6 bags of truffles, 3 gone in 2 days, lol addicted to them.) Along with other goodies


The parcel arrived yesterday and it looked like it had been opened by someone. The box had security tape over it, but then the box was not aligned properly and then taped up with clear tape. The goods were just thrown in the box, with only a little piece of cardboard over the top. It was so big the box, you could have fitted 4 times the amount in the box.


Fortunately, everything was fine in the box, but I could see them having real problems on the run up to Xmas, if they don't sort the packaging issue out.


You do need to speak to Thorntons, they are usually ok to deal with.
