Vanish Oxiaction :(

I bought some Vanish oxiaction (pink tub) last week and decided to try it out yesterday.
It was fine on whites but on colours I'm not impressed.
A brand new top of hubbies now has pink/red speckles all over the back of it.
Any ideas of why this has happened?

could be a number of reasons, but usually overloading the machine or adding too much powder is the cause

Hehe, Ive done it myself with powder tablets, usually ending up with white splodges all over the black clothes.....

Shove all the spotty stuff back in on a fast wash, should be ok after a second spin!

Our old washing machine was really bad for that, you didn't even have to over load it but it was a watersaving machine (when they first came out) and you had to be so careful with what kind of power/tablets you used as they didn't always dissolve fully.

Sadly once the colour is bleached out theres not really anything you can do to fix it.
